Oldfield Settlement, developed in 1999, was Legacy's first conservation subdivision. It is located approximately 1/2 mile east of I-94 and 1/2 Mile South of HWY G off of Bell Rd.

Oldfield Settlement has a rich and interesting history. Originally farmed by the Taucher family, the land was returned to nature in the 1950’s. Native trees, shrubs and wildflowers, some still existing in the soil and others brought in by wind and wildlife quickly took root and began to flourish.  A rare diversity developed that distinguishes this property from any others in the area.

Commonly owned areas are owned and maintained by a homeowners association. Beautiful scenic walking trails surround the development and lead to a pond and picnic area in the center. The common areas are home to many species of birds and animals, including deer.
